I believe Chase's opportunism, which was his hallmark the first two or so seasons and set him apart as a character, has been sadly neglected lately. It's a pity, because coupled with those good looks it made a miniature Dorian Gray of him. Now he's just a heartbroken not-so-young-anymore doctor. Booooring!
