I did indeed like the way you've written Chase. He's far too boring on the series right now, going through a predictable series of actions as rebound!Chase.
I'm also not that fond of all the sex in the current storyline (and I'm not saying that because of House/Cuddy, I mean in general). IMO having everyone hopping into bed is hack writing, it's soap opera territory. Sex should be treated as a spicy condiment and used sparingly, not as ketchup to be dumped on everything in sight. Then again, we are getting Huddy as told from House's viewpoint, so it makes a sort of sense that the first days of the romance would be smothered in pheromones and lust.
Re: Wilson's obliviousness . . . I think over the last season in particular we've seen Wilson pulling farther and farther away from House, culminating in almost complete neglect of their friendship when Sam enters the picture. He's also become more ineffectual in reaching House, substituting pontificating and scolding for real concern and halfway decent advice. So it makes sense to me that the fellows would be the first to catch any behavior deviating from the norm. Wilson's too preoccupied at the moment. JMO, anyway.
As for your writing career, you'll write more stories and I'll enjoy every one of them, so bask now, and know you'll be basking later too. You're an excellent writer, and you've got more stories in you to tell. I look forward to reading them.
