This is my favorite of your stories. I LOVE this. What's not to like?
Sam struggling to get James to the altar, defying all odds and still unable to find any joy in her accomplishment, mainly because she's denied reality;
Wilson trying to keep an eye on House and please Sam, and accomplishing neither;
Chase at his weaselly best, accepting money he knows he'll never earn, and getting half-buzzed to sing sentimental love songs;
House and Cuddy, keeping the secret from everyone until they finally announce it with a very unique kiss (and admitting Chase's simple deduction is correct). (Still love House's apron.)
The last sentence really caught me by surprise. I sat there mildly stunned, and in complete agreement. What a wonderful way to end the story! It's perfect.
Excellent, excellent fic. Well done.
(Thanks once more for recommending my fic, I'm honored.) :)
