I didn't care much for Sam so I could go with the way you wrote her here I don't think she's a bad person, any more than House, Wilson or Cuddy are. She wants to be the most important person in her partner's life, and what's wrong with that? (So do I!) It just means that Wilson is the wrong choice for her. She's manipulative (but so's everyone else) and she isn't nice to House, but - House wasn't nice to her either. We're inclined to forgive House (and any of our other favourite characters) behaviour that we find reprehensible if House himself becomes the butt of it.
Often people in my own particular ship write Cuddy, and even Wilson, differently then I see them. Grin! Different ship, but same problem here!
