ReadingRat's Treadmill

Of the few of these I've read, I like them all. The Martian was actually one of my favorite books of the year. I loved Gaiman's Ocean and Adams' Dirk Gently,in very different ways. I suspect that if you didn't like American Gods you won't like any of Gaiman's work, because that book had most of the elements he typically uses. I liked Mrs. Dalloway when I read it, but I preferred To The Lighthouse. Though I was much younger then. I don't know what I'd think if I re-read them today. Last but not least, I had a very similar reaction to Glass Castle.
