this was so sweet, on so many levels.
This was downright doused in fluff by my standards. I think everyone is secretly relieved that I didn't post one of my 'Christmas Fluffs' this year — you know, the ones with major character deaths, ODs, suicide attempts, drug-induced hallucinations, etc.

He has come a long way from the guy who rejected his own identity and an even longer one from the one who expected Cuddy to save him. Both journeys were important to me: developing a sense of identity and a sense of self-worth.
