I would break up the long paragraphs. Okay, that's easily done. (Re-writing the first part isn't in the books because I barely get the editing done in time for posting.) Now that's interesting, because some of my longer paragraphs started off as shorter ones that I merged when editing them, thinking that I'd go crazy when reading print books if the paragraphs there were as short as my fanfic paragraphs are. Do you think there's a difference in the way we perceive online texts as compared to paper ones?
