I hate it when Rachel and House bond immediately like he's everyone's favourite uncle, or when she still misses him after three years and runs into his arms. When a child does that, it isn't a sign of a deep bond; it's a sign that the child doesn't have adequate defence mechanisms, and it makes you worry about how she'll interact with strangers who might not be quite as well meaning as House is.
