If you were a true communist, you could only allow yourself to have a fancy car if everyone else had one too. That, however, would sabotage your desire to drive fast, because if everyone had a fancy fast car, even the autobahn would be too crowded for fast driving. (lifting an eyebrow in turn - and yes, I can do it - as a kid I spent many an hour in front of the mirror practicing the art) Just because I have religious convictions doesn't mean that I can't despise everyone else's, especially when they don't coincide with mine - which is generally the case, I'm afraid; the people in my church only put up with me because as fellow Christians they are morally obliged to love me as their sister in Christ ...
