I even liked his wife, and we never met her. Pete is getting a taste of his own medicine here, with the difference that Lucas isn't threatening the wrong guy. If Cuddy chooses to be completely insane about House then that's one thing. But IMO it's her family and friends' duty to look out for her and point out to her just how insane she's being - that's what friends are for. (I've read fics where her family - Arlene, Julia - actually root for House after what he did, and it drives me crazy. It only makes sense if Arlene wants to see her daughter dead and Julia is speculating on getting Cuddy's share of the inheritance.) Even if I kind of felt sorry for him afterwards, I do believe he was asking for trouble. He's asking for trouble, but Tritter is anything but a neutral dispenser of justice.
