Thanks for responding. The only hole in your argument appears to be timing. The unceremonious dumping of Huddy and marginalization of Cuddy happened well before it was clear there would even be an 8th season, let alone during the negotiation period. It's a well thought out, interesting read if you have some time. The second theory in a nutshell is that a personal relationship between HL & LE developed and threatened the Laurie marriage. HL, who is the undeniable and undisputable star of the show, demanded a change in direction which would eventually force LE out. The contract was either an offer so low she would look foolish accepting it if the details were made public OR LE agreed to walk away and the contract was never even tendered. Your thoughts?????
